SM Wildwood

Taking dreams to the next level.

About Us

Sarah Miller moved to Stephenville, Texas, the Cowboy Capital of the World, in late November, 2016. The relocation and the new SM Wildwood Arena and Equine Facility allow her to expand her breeding program and continue competing in barrel racing.

Sarah’s family has a farming and cattle operation in Kansas where she enjoyed spending a lot of her childhood. Even though Sarah and her dad enjoyed team roping, as her riding skills advanced she decided that barrel racing was her preferred event. Fortunately, she has a great friend and mentor who is a professional barrel racer; she encouraged Sarah’s desire; a horse was purchased; jackpots were entered.

After a few months of having a barrel horse, Sarah bought her WPRA permit and entered the California Circuit rodeos. Her first WPRA rodeo was at Folsom, CA. on the 4th of July. She filled her permit within the year. Relocation, construction, and the expanded breeding business restricted her time to compete during 2017 and 2018. With the SM Wildwood Arena complete and a great team Sarah is looking to compete in 2020 at the Texas rodeos.

Sarah takes pride in having arena footing that is kept at a professional level.
